Volleyball

2026 NEYSA Volleyball

The NEYSA Youth Volleyball Program aims to introduce and develop fundamental volleyball skills for children ages 8–14 in a safe, structured, and age-appropriate environment.

Ages 8–9 (Introductory Volleyball/Fundamentals)
Overview: Introduce the sport and build basic athletic skills. Introduction to passing, serving (underhand), and positioning. Modified equipment if appropriate (lighter balls, shorter courts, etc..)
Ages 10–12 (Skill Development)
Objective: Develop core volleyball skills and understanding of the game. Work on passing, setting, serving (underhand progressing to overhand). Increased scrimmages and structured gameplay.
Ages 13–14 (Advancing Skills )
Objective: Prepare players for school-level volleyball and competitive play. Overhand serving, hitting, blocking, defensive systems.

Divisions may be adjusted based on registration numbers.

*Each player will need to purchase knee-pads.

Football

2026 Tackle Football

NEYSA will again participate in the YCYFA Football Program with teams being assigned and commencing
practices in August and games commencing in September. We expect practices to be 3-4 weeknights per
week for 2 hours each practice, with games on Saturdays or Sundays. Final practice schedules will be
distributed once teams have been assigned, and game schedules will come out from the league in late

NEW THIS YEAR Volunteer Hours Are Required! MANDATORY FEE REQUIRED
Families are required to complete volunteer 1 hours throughout the season. These hours include assisting
with the concession stand, time clock, chain crew, field set-up/clean-up, etc. NEYSA Football is solely run by
volunteers and need your help!
You will be required to present at check or money order due at the time of equipment pick up in the amount of $50. Failure to provide this fee will suspend equipment hand out. If volunteer hours (1) have been satisfied this check or money order will be present back to you at equipment return date. Any family that did not complete the mandatory volunteer hours (1) check or money order will be deposited to the NEYSA Tackle football account. NEYSA Treasurer will maintain all payments.
*Our goal is not to make money our goal is get volunteers! Please help us make that possible.

The Tackle Football Program is open to boys and girls who are in grades 1st-7th in the fall of 2026 and meet
the following criteria:

1. Currently reside in the Northeastern School District; or
2. Do not reside in NESD, but NESD is the closest participating program to the player’s home (for
example, players residing in West Shore District are eligible to participate with NEYSA)
3. All Players Must have a Sports Physical within the last year. Physicals must not expire during the
Fall Football season. A new physical will be required before the player participates in the
program.

 A deposit of $100 Due July 19th to get a Personalized Jersey - Standard “Bobcats” jersey will be
provided for any registrations after the cut off.

2026 NEYSA Tackle Football Cheerleading

Welcome to the NEYSA Tackle Football Cheerleading Program!
This Program will run from July 2026 to October 2026
This program is for kids in K-8. The season will follow the NEYSA Football program dates for this Fall/Winter

When registering please select the grade your child will be in during the Fall 2026 Football Season!

Cost is $205 for the season.

Practices will be scheduled starting in August. We will not honor or accept any team, practice day, or coach requests.

$20 Discount for multiple participants in the same family.
Must be registered at the same time to get the discount!

Each installment is subject to a $3.00 Service Fee payable to Sports Connect.

2026-2027 Competition Cheerleading

NEYSA Competition Cheer is for athletes who are ready to take their skills to the next level!! This program focuses on advanced stunting, tumbling, choreography, strength and teamwork all while building confidence.
Join us for our competition cheer squad. It's a fast paced squad that will also compete at 5 local competitions.

This team DOES cheer for football games while learning their choreographed jumps and stunts.

Learn proper stunt techniques & body positions, flyers, bases & back spot fundamentals. Tumbling basics & progression and teamwork skills.

This high-energy camp is the culmination of all our summer camps, bringing the skills learned from Cheer & Chant and Stunt& Tumble

Registration ages and prices are below. Please note that NEYSA Soccer, in accordance with our governing league guidelines, will be switching registration ages to an August - September age group, rather than strictly by birth year (similar to the way school registration works).

All registration fees must be paid with a credit card. A $3.00 service fee will be applied to each credit card transaction. The vendor charges this fee and is not retained by NEYSA.

U9-U19 age groups $110 ($90.00 with Early Bird Discount - Register before April 30)
***Uniform purchases are separate. ALL TRAVEL PLAYERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A NEW UNIFORM FOR FALL 2026. These uniforms will be used through Spring 2028 (4 seasons).
Players must be registered according to their birth date, however that does not always guarantee which age group they will be playing with. Age division changes are made based off of coach feedback, registration numbers, and roster limitations.
